COVID-19 patient screening precautions

Patient COVID-19 Screening Precautions Prior to your Appointment:

  • At MedCare Clinics we have a responsibility to prioritize the health and safety of our patients, healthcare providers and staff. To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are enforcing the following precautions:
  • If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, such as cough, shortness of breath and/or fever, please call our clinic to reschedule your appointment for a minimum 14 days after your symptoms subside.
  • If you or someone you know have been in contact with a COVID-19 positive person please call our clinic to reschedule your appointment for a minimum 14 days after your initial contact with the person.
  • If you or someone you know has traveled outside of Canada over the past 14 days, please call our clinic to reschedule your appointment for a minimum 14 days after returning to Canada or having such contact.

Patient Screening Precautions upon your Arrival:

  • Upon your arrival at our clinic, we will ask you a few short COVID-19 screening questions. A quick temperature check will also take place.
  • All patients and visitors while in the clinic will be required to wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, MedCare Clinics will provide one.
  • All patients and visitors will be required to social distance and practice proper hand hygiene during their visit.
